Question 1

What is the Living Roots Crop System?

Accepted Answer

The Living Roots Crop System is a biological crop program designed for regenerative agriculture in Thailand and Southeast Asia. It includes four products: SeedStart™ (seed inoculant for stronger germination and early root growth), PhotoBoost™ (foliar crop nutrition for photosynthesis), PhotoMax™ (metabolic catalyst for structural strength and pest resistance), and Activate™ (no-burn solution that breaks down crop residue up to 80% in 3 weeks). Together they support crops from seed to soil recovery.

Question 2

What is SeedStart?

Accepted Answer

SeedStart™ is a biological seed inoculant by Living Roots that improves stand count and early vigor. It contains phosphorus-solubilizing microbes, beneficial soil bacteria, and mycorrhizal fungi. Each seed coating is designed for the specific crop. Currently available for corn, with more crops coming soon. Available in three sizes: 10 Rai/75g (฿800), 50 Rai/375g (฿3,500), and 100 Rai/750g (฿6,000). As low as ฿60 per rai. Request a product catalog or samples at roots.ag/contact.

Question 3

What is PhotoBoost?

Accepted Answer

PhotoBoost™ is a foliar crop nutrition product by Living Roots that supports chlorophyll production and photosynthetic efficiency. It helps plants convert sunlight into energy more effectively for stronger growth and higher yield potential. Apply by diluting 30 mL per 20 L of water and spraying on leaves. Available in 250 mL (฿500), 500 mL (฿950), and 1 L (฿1,850). Request a product catalog or samples at roots.ag/contact.

Question 4

What is PhotoMax?

Accepted Answer

PhotoMax™ is a metabolic catalyst by Living Roots powered by Triple-Fraction Chelation (Amino, Fulvic, and Citric Acids) for up to 90%+ mineral uptake. Contains the Photosynthesis 5 (Magnesium, Manganese, Iron, Zinc, Boron), nitrogen optimizers (Molybdenum, Cobalt), amino-chelated Calcium, 28% L-Amino Acids, Fulvic Acid, and Seaweed extract. Molybdenum helps reduce free nitrate stress by supporting the conversion of raw nitrates into complex proteins, reducing the sweet sap that attracts Aphids and Brown Planthoppers. Natural osmolytes support stress tolerance against leaf-roll and flower drop. Cost per rai starts from ฿45 for vegetables to ฿135 for fruit trees. Available in 500 mL (฿250), 1 L (฿450), and 5 L (฿2,000). Request a product catalog or samples at roots.ag/contact.

Question 5

What is the difference between PhotoBoost and PhotoMax?

Accepted Answer

PhotoBoost™ and PhotoMax™ are designed as a two-part foliar system. PhotoBoost drives photosynthetic speed, helping plants convert more sunlight into energy. PhotoMax provides the structural fuel, delivering amino-chelated minerals for cell wall strength and pest resistance. Using PhotoBoost without PhotoMax is like hitting the gas on a car with an empty tank. Together, they provide both the metabolic speed and structural support for maximum yield potential.

Question 6

What is Activate?

Accepted Answer

Activate™ is a no-burn crop residue solution by Living Roots. It uses beneficial microbes to rapidly break down crop stubble and straw, up to 80% in just 3 weeks, providing a practical alternative to burning. Application rate is 3 L per rai mixed with 40 L of water. Available for 10 Rai (฿950, ฿95/rai) and 100 Rai (฿9,000, ฿90/rai). Request a product catalog or samples at roots.ag/contact.

Question 7

What are biological crop inputs?

Accepted Answer

Biological crop inputs use beneficial microorganisms and natural compounds to improve crop health, enhance nutrient uptake, and boost yields without synthetic chemicals. Living Roots develops biological crop inputs specifically adapted for tropical climates in Thailand and Southeast Asia, including seed treatments, foliar nutrition, and crop residue management solutions for regenerative agriculture.

Question 8

How can I get Living Roots biological crop inputs?

Accepted Answer

Living Roots works directly with agribusinesses, farmer networks, distributors, and food companies. Products include SeedStart™ seed inoculant, PhotoBoost™ foliar nutrition, PhotoMax™ metabolic catalyst, and Activate™ no-burn solution. Request a product catalog or samples at roots.ag/contact. Living Roots is headquartered in Chiang Mai, Thailand.

Question 9

How does Activate help reduce crop burning in Thailand?

Accepted Answer

Activate™ by Living Roots provides a practical alternative to crop burning by using beneficial microbes to rapidly break down crop residue after harvest, up to 80% in just 3 weeks. Instead of burning, farmers spray Activate onto soil and crop residues to decompose stubble into soil nutrients. This directly addresses PM 2.5 air pollution caused by widespread crop burning in Thailand and Southeast Asia. Request a product catalog or samples at roots.ag/contact.

Question 10

What crops do Living Roots products work on?

Accepted Answer

Living Roots biological crop inputs work across a wide range of tropical crops. SeedStart™ is currently available for corn with more crops coming. PhotoBoost™ foliar nutrition works on vegetables, rice, and corn. PhotoMax™ is a general-purpose high-performance foliar effective on rice (increases grain weight, prevents lodging), fruit trees like durian and mango (fruit set and drop prevention), and leafy greens (increases crunch, weight, and shelf life). Activate™ handles post-harvest crop residue from any field crop. All products are designed for tropical growing conditions in Thailand and Southeast Asia.

Question 11

Does Living Roots operate outside Thailand?

Accepted Answer

Yes, Living Roots operates across Thailand (headquarters in Chiang Mai), India, and Indonesia. The company develops biological crop inputs adapted for tropical agriculture across Southeast Asia and South Asia.
